I've a feeling they might rest Tufan tomorrow. Could be my memory playing up but was he rubbing the back of his thigh a bit during the week?
Another hard earned point I think. So many injuries to our better players, we're left with the type of squad that'll scrap rather than attack. It's a shame because a fully fit squad would sort the Baggies right out given their shakiness, but I just can't see it with what we've got to work with. Woods will add a bit of grit, but I think it'll come at the expense of Tufan who will probably be rested so we'll lack that killer edge. I'd snap somebody's hand (not Baxter's) off for a point.
**** resting Tufan. No game for a week, points on the board is what matters. Give them hell, get that **** sacked.
Just made me think that. All those trips setting off from Ferensway. A lot of us older types probably saw each other many times and maybe had a good chat over a can of beer before using Dills piss can on the stairs of the double decker. Great days. The top division looked miles away then.
How well does he know our system though? We are still a bit shaky on attack, so we wouldn't be losing much on that regard anyway; but we seemed fairly organized on the defensive end so far and it may be a risk to throw him out there so soon.
Shota is already protecting / easing Tufan in by subbing him on 60 or 70. I expect that to continue Saturday
Draw for me,hard game. Not in the slightest bit interested in what happens to Steve Bruce if we beat them, admired his effort while he was here but he's gone now...
One goal either way- it’s City remember ! we have often been a charity for teams looking like they are failing - watched them the other week they look very strong and like I said keep Jed Wallace from crossing and we’ll be ok
I remember it well, one of my all time favourite away days. We were riding the crest of a wave but took a massive dive from that point on.
