Why does it take 2 days at a time to up a bid by a couple of £m ?

Surely these people actually talk to each other and discuss what price would be accepted, if any, rather than doing everything via fax machine and in the media. No? It's baffling.

In a typical NUFC style twist I can see us getting both of those above
Pedro turns out to be world beater and Paqueta another JL ( in his early days)
I don’t like bringing in loans anymore just to give bench warmers game time for the World Cup without a buy option, not an obligation

The word “patience” has been used by Ghodoussi, Ashworth, Howe and now Bruno, and the better journalists seem to hold the opinion 2 or more likely 3 will arrive.

Looks nailed on with Pedro. He’s a CF/Wing type, like Richarlison, by all accounts so does that stop a move for CHO or Pulisic?

I’d take the £50m for ‘Maddison and the £33m for Ekitke we had and buy Ramos (£25m), lPedro (£27m) and Paqueta (£33m) then loan two of the Chelsea lads (Gallagher & Pulisic). That would be ****ing epic like.

Pedro is actually a central attack midfielder according to the Watford fans on their forum.

It would be epic, but not happening
for 1 thing, we can't loan 2 players from 1 club. Plus Ramos woukd cost a lot more than £25m. Benfica are hoping for a bidding war to start, to help inflate his price. Can't see.us getting him unless we pay over £30m.
