Which isn't really an unfair comment. He signed a new deal only a few months ago, and Benfica isn't exactly hurting for cash after selling Darwin. £25m isn't massive money.

But if their reps did actual meet ours in person, it would suggest that it isn't a million miles off from their valuation.

There are people pointing to the meeting being a little while ago and nothing happening but there are UCL qualifiers and also I would assume if the meeting was a while ago and the deal was determined to be impossible then (for us financially) - that would also have come out
