At times it was like watching a young Marc Tierney or Martin Ollson on that hollowed left flank .
    23 shirts too

I don't remeber Tierney. I liked watching Olsson, though. Didn't he once shove Simon Hooper, my favorite ref?

Wierd turn of events, Normann was announced and then the deal was terminated by mutual consent the following day due to protracted registration apparently?

It has the adventage of limiting his ability to get in other people's way. In a midfield three alongside Hayden and Núñez, he'd be in Núñez's way when we have the ball, and Hayden's when defending.

Not sure, he kept drifting into the middle on Tuesday, with Gibbs having to be aware and covering - maybe intentional and they were supposed to rotate, but it looked a bit muddled at times to me and I would be worried we would get badly punished by a stronger team in better attacking form

Couldn't get a decent stream on Tuesday, but I can well believe it.

I read an opinion that McLean's movement into the midfield areas from LB indicated he was playing the role like Cancelo...which was about the time I decided I'd had enough internet for the day.

Forest have made their 16th summer signing, £45m on Morgan Gibbs-White. Given the number of incomings, are there any championship-proven squad players now on the periphery of their squad who might be available for loan/cheap?

How much money can spend in one window? According to transfer market they have the third highest net spend this supper in Europe! I have nothing against Forest, but I would laugh if they were relegated

Fulham have been down that same road - twice.
And been relegated after one season - twice. <yikes>

I thought that as well. Brentford kept most of their team together and survived relatively comfortably.

Yeah they had a good start and about 3/4 of the way in had a little wobble, but finished strongly

Honestly, assuming the usual United overpay I wouldn't have too much of an issue with this. Whether Gunn should be first choice is debatable already, and we'd probably be able to sign a backup and have money left over with whatever we'd get from United.

Rashica has got to be on his way of we sign this guy. Or Argos maybe, but we already have a sufficiency of side men. He certainly likes to get into the goal mouth, good scoring record as well.
