As soon as that ball went to Neil I was thinking don't **** this up If I can sense that it must be obvious as I know nowt!
So frustrating how much the game turned on that one moment, soon as he went off it filled them with a confidence they didn't have much of before. At least we got through to half time where we can regroup. Can still see us getting a result especially if we can rattle them early on.
Patterson can be a top keeper. He isn’t yet. if we’d stayed in league one he’d just about be ok. But we didn’t. he needs a loan to league one. So does Neil. Both of them could be brilliant players for us and even beyond. But neither seem to have learnt the basics for their positions
If he comes through the crowd he’s got half a chance of being awarded a free kick too keepers are so protected
Correct.. SU player had a free header. Saturday, Patterson came off his line and their goalie scored... if we had challenged their player he could not have headed the ball so well, and Patterson saves? 10 men, going to be interesting to see how AN plays his subs, Stewart looking sharp..Simms not so much so?
To change the tact from negativity - I’m over the moon with what I’ve seen. Result tonight won’t affect that I’ve seen we have more than enough to not go down.
Agreed, we were causing them all sort of issues and were pressing so well. We all know we need more quality but I like how dangerous we look in the final 3rd
Not a single comment to say it’s keepers ball. I can’t see how it’s his fault. Very few keepers come for those. They had 3 0layers attacking the ball and Luke O’Nien as the only player picking one of them up.
Yeah. He did it earlier and we conceded with a corner because he didn't hear a shout. Watched the replay and it's even worse. Wasn't even pinned by their player. Our player was Infront. Need him to be strong and just clean house.
