The best you can hope for is that GLC and NDombele
have good seasons (in WC2022 ambition we trust) ,
and that ignites a bidding war for them later down the line.

Beyond that, the club have physically got them
out of sight 2 weeks before the transfer window ends.

He looked decent last season at Forest in the championship. However, this would be a big step and Ten Hag seems to have ignored him despite the obvious issues United have. He would bring creativity and HG, however I would rather see us go for someone proven at this level. My worry would be that he comes in, doesn't get game time and spends the next 2 seasons out on loan before being sold for less than we paid for him.

He's even less likely to get game time than Djed Spence. Both are at a similar level of development, but Rockford would have Bentancur, Bissouma, Hojbjerg and Skippy in front of him, whilst Spence is only up against The Doc and Emerson Royal.

Like Spence wpuld have been, he'd probably be better off rejoining Forest, where the coach is at least likely to put him on the bench, if not in the team.

I think Spence's time will come. I don't think either of our senior RWB's have fully convinced Conte and I still wouldn't be surprised if one of them are sold this window, likely Doherty.

can’t see us buying anyone noteworthy, first team ready tbh from the vibes I’m getting in what remains of the TW

    6.9 for me…maybe 6.8

If we win the league I’ll give it a high 9

Hector Gomez claims we've blocked Bryan leaving this summer

Not sure where they are on the Tier list, but if he's impressed Conte he deserves to stick around to show what he can do

Jorge Nicola, meanwhile, claims we've rejected bids from England, Italy and Saudi Arabia for Lucas, and we will only change our stance if we receive a bid of €20m

I don't think that we're done. We're still a CB short (a really good one) and a player like Zaniolo (if not the beast himself). Just Winks and Reguillon to get moved out and I'd expect us to be looking to exploit our financial status over clubs on the continent.

    8 for me so far.

Really happy with our signings and on Sunday three of them massively impacted the game. We've been crying out for game changers and in the first game we've required some they all done their part. Two of those are likely to become regular starters too.

I'll give it a 9 if we can add a creative player.

9.5 if we shift those on the transfer list.

10 if Kane signs a new deal.

I'd really like to see Gil given chances but I feel another loan may be best for him. Hard to see him getting the sufficient amount of minutes he'd need, especially if another forward/ creative player comes in.

Wouldn't sell Lucas even for €20m, need him in the squad.

Reading between the lines a little bit, but that might suggest Sarr is headed out on loan as I can't recall any articles/comments where Conte talks him up

Conte in his post match presser

“First of all I’m really happy for Pierre because I push a lot my midfielders to arrive at the edge of the box and to shoot. I think Pierre, Rodrigo, Skippy and Bissouma the same. Sarr is a young guy but if he continues to work in this way he is a really good prospect.”

One window was never going to be enough to completely get in and get rid of everyone the clubs wants. I’d give it an 8. Really want another CB and creative player but can see why the club haven’t got either yet. Maybe late drama once the deadwood have gone out on loan or been sold

I’ve been thinking about Conte and his inflexibility outside of the 343, and how it was a good thing he changed the game with the system switch in the second half. Encouragingly he also reflected on it in his press conference, so I hope we’ll see more work on the alternative shape so we can replicate some of the defensive solidity we have in a 3 when we switch to a 4. It’s clearly something he’s aware of and that’s good. It’s testament to the work on the squad though that we were able to change the game in such a manner. Encouraging signs.

If Spurs beat Wolves I would have him in the
starting XI for the Forest game.

I agree , 8 out of 10 so far this transfer window. Got the main 6 in nice and early and then a terrific signing for next season in Udogie.

Ideal scenario by the end of the window would be -

    OUT

    Reguilon
    Winks
    Tanganga
    Loan out Sarr and Gil

    IN

    CCB - Zabarnyi
    AM - Zaniola or Paqueta.

Looks like we’ll be missing out on any Dele payments from Everton.

Besiktas are trying to sign him, either perm or loan.

Hard to see a future at Everton for him, or the Prem in general to be honest. Guy’s finished, a shame but also a sign how quickly fortunes in football can change.
