    When asked why he hadn't commented on the energy bill crisis until now, Keir Starmer's response was to say that he was in Mallorca as he and his family hadn't had a proper holiday for three years

    There's a slight issue with that: the Starmers went to the New Forest in the summer of 2020 (while The Wail took photos of a tent claiming The Great Leader was in it), and last summer the Starmers were in Devon

    Is there any issue with their holidays? No, not really - but there is an issue with how, once again, Luke Akehurst is directing Starmer to make statements that actually make situations worse for him, in this case instead of simply directing Starmer to say they were on holiday he had to qualify it...and in the process of doing that, actually undermined Starmer by directing him to, in effect, lie
