The finish was sensational, the bit before that was terrible.. was watching it on the phone, while heading home after seeing The Smyths in Melbourne. The euphoria of the gig soon dissipated - Sunderland looked sharp and interested. We looked sluggish and lacking in confidence.
Nico looks shot, he’s not championship standard and needs help.
Got home in time to watch the Sunderland goals and decided to take my belly full of beer and ringing ears to bed, only to be woken by the noise after chairs free kick…. Then the climax and was unable to get back to sleep for a while.
No doubt there be a few more of these performances this season. If we can nick a point when we don’t deserve it, mid table awaits.

The refs are as **** in this league as league one, you got away with some ****ing dodgy tackles the refs must be paid to **** us up.

Ha ha, trust me we've had enough **** refs and disgusting decisions over the last few years so it makes a change to get some fortunate decisions for once. Yes you deserved to win on the day but count yourselves fortunate we didn't have Willock, Amos , Paal or Richards available, we'd have battered you !
 
One of the really interesting conundrums facing Beale is how to fit Willock, Chair and Roberts into the same line up when all are fully fit.
Surely we would then only have one up front. Dykes with Armstrong on for the last thirty.
With Field and Amos playing the holding midfield roles there is surely no place for Johansen.

Would love to see that starting line up.

Chill out everyone.....and please be respectful

People are allowed to say we were pretty awful, without being slated ...and you can definitely enjoy the result and the manner of the result...and still say we were awful, we didn't deserve it...but I loved it.

And please Bobmid keep posting match results...you were there most of us weren't..and no you can't see the same thing from a TV feed.





. Yes we were ****e for a big stretch of the match...but we took a point through sheer force of will, a bit of skill from Chair, and a lot of luck.

But Sunderland , yes newly promoted, but will be no pushover. So it was a good point.

Beale, is still moulding the team and tactics, and with the injuries we have, he has a few positions in which he has little choice at the moment.

It looks as though the team may look different on Tuesday.

Personally when Dieng scored ( and it came through on my phone), I was stroking a skunk at a festival wedding in a field....

Pictures are available...and it is a "where were you when Seny scored" moment

Amos like Salter and Richards won't be back until next month at least according to Beale.

Of course Bob should continue to say it how he sees it, Beth. I have no problem with realism, but Bob's report seemed to me to be all gloom without taking any joy out of the fact that our keeper equalised in the last minute. Still, I apologise Bob, carry on giving us your expert views. Little Bob the echo should continue, too.

I thought we just about deserved the point after a poor 1st half. The introduction of Roberts looked like it made us a lot better 2nd half, as did Armstrong when he eventually came on. I thought Beale would have done better bringing him on a bit earlier than he did, because Shodipo was clearly slowing down more and more as that 2nd half went on, clear on the QPR+ stream anyway, and at 2 nil down there was nothing to lose. Great finish!

I only saw the written commentary on sky app but it appeared that we were all over then second half with plenty of shots, most wide or over the top though. God knows what Sky were looking at then.

He didn't name names but Beale said we'd have a couple back for Tuesday and a couple more for the weekend. That'll be most of them back if true, sure it won't quite pan out like that.

We might look back on yesterday as an important point in our season.

It’s all up and down so far (but we’re all used to that aren’t we). There are positives in Beales honest approach (but … there’s always a but … it is all about the results).
20 shots and only 4 on target is pretty disgraceful poor.

Diengs goal is what give us all a smile and a “what the f#*” moment. Great moment to see Bob and always good to hear from you guys that are there on the day.

Next two games will be interesting as we look for some of the progress we need to be showing - it doesn’t feel there at the moment, but still time.
 
QPR are looking for play offs. We got a point and deserved more. I’m very happy with how we played. Think we were decent v Coventry, good against Bristol C and excellent today. Best we’ve played for me. QPR celebrated a draw with a newly promoted club like they’d won the FA Cup

This was a more measured post from their forum mod. Interesting he states we're looking at the playoffs despite what he saw for 80 mins!

I found your comments illuminating, Bob. We all know the team's play is not really persuasive at the moment, so it was helpful to have your insightful comments. It does show some fighting spirit and resilience, does it not, that we come back from two goals down while playing away at a full stadium? Sunderland aren't a bad team. They beat Bristol City away.

There's definitely something there for MB to work on, when we get players back from knocks. We need to stay patient.
