He was the best striker on the pitch. Better than Dykes for QPR, who starts ahead of him for Scotland…
He was, I barely noticed Dykes, in open play they were crap. Whereas Stewart gave his usual all round performance. He's a top lad.
Although pìssed off, we are a vast improvement to last time we were in this league and are showing from the off we can compete . Frustrating but looking very promising.
It was a bit of a sickener. Fortunately it's far too early in the season for any results to matter much which makes it easier to take.
Oh no - Jamie Mackie is on ITV football What a shambles of a programme - they can't even get the running order right, mixing Championship with League One.
I’ve never seen anyone on a post from a free kick in 40 years of watching football. Sometime someone runs back but, as soon as the opposition realised, they stick someone 5 yards from the goal so the “post” person then runs back out. Corners used to always have a man on the post. Not direct free kicks
dykes is a horrible player if he does not get his own way, that assault on batth should have been a red and afore anyone leaps in...he did not even make an attempt to get the ball so just put his knee into batths thigh then as he falls he makes sure his hand goes to batths face, something he could easy avoid happening so there is no excuse, it was not even a very bad 'tackle' he plain and simply wanted to hurt batth...but really that was just one of three assaults today. horrible team on that display.
The refs are twats but why take Simms off ? then let the other team dictate for the last 20 mins, a shambles. That defence is rubbish at heading a ball.
Well it hasn't eased has it? Actually can't believe we've not won that yesterday, I am still gutted about it. Now has me thinking if we are 2 goals ahead with 3 minutes to go we may still be in big trouble. I keep trying to think hey after 3 games we are 6th and I'd have been super happy with that and I am but the manner in which yesterday went is just draining to such a high.
Agree. Yet I was hoping we would rely on home form. Still undefeated in league football though on a decent run. It is a big lesson we have to keep going for 90mins+. I was literally speechless leaving the ground yesterday sheer disbelief. Onto Sheff Utd we go.
I wouldn't call it two points dropped against Coventry. We took the lead but they were the better team that day. I'm still gutted about yesterday like. You should never go away with less than 3 points being 2 up on 87 minutes.
