You lot are funny, Hull were gifted a goal and spent most of the game pinned in your own half. No complaints you won fair and square , Norwich fluffed a bunch of chances to equalise. And you are moaning about ref decisions. No red cards No penalties No disallowed goals . Pukki got dragged back when clean on goal , no action . You guys should enjoy the win and your good start to the season and stop moaning you won't get an easier gift of a goal than that first one all season .
I hope Aaron’s pulls through, it reflects badly on us as a club, when an opposition player is taken out by a sniper twelve times in a single game.
Indeed. But with all the concussion stuff and worries about head injuries refs are frightened of the repercussions.
That’s not gamesmanship, horrible cheating ****erism. Wasn’t it the same player who a few minutes later cleared the ball against his own defender to let Oscar in? ****ing Karma!
It’s just a discussion, there’s a lot of people here so if often goes off piste…which is good. He was **** though…almost as **** as Ramsays’s finishing!
I think the point being made is that the ref played more added on time than was displayed on the board. The water breaks didn’t occur in added on time so they had already been taken into account.
Imagine having PL money yet you can't beat a side who finished 19th last year and is riddled with injuries
How do you know? There might be other defences that are as crap as yours! The ref was poor, mate - gave you everything. If one of our players breathed on one of yours they went down "injured" and got a free kick. But the funniest was that numpty defender of yours who headed the ball and then went down injured! Anyway if your bloke could score from 2 inches instead of blazing over the bar you would've got something from the game Ref had a good view of the Pukki incident - obviously felt it was a dive, or a "coming together" or whatever they call it these days when a pen isn't given
Just watched the ITV 4 "highlights" - their coverage isn't anywhere near as good as Quest's last season. Colin Murray was different class.
The Greaves on Pukki thing did look a foul, but from how I saw it at the time, it only got there because Pukki 'cleverly' shoved Greaves as he was going up to head it, which made Greaves miss the ball and it run through for Pukki to chase. At the time I got the feeling he didn't give the foul by Greaves because he knew he'd been generous in letting it get that far.
He was watching the game closely…he played advantage..if he thought there was a head injury he should have stopped play immediately and given the free kick. The was another incident later one when one went down holding his head but had treatment on his leg. Not sure of the “rule” re subs vacating the field of play but when a player goes down with cramp and later goes off with a leg injury seems a bit petty making him walk all the way round the pitch.
