if they get a half decent striker in and that Onana carries on like his little showing today they will probably just have enough . Villa were as bad if not worse but they did at least have strikers on the pitch .

seriously if Everton go down they have one season to get promoted or their finances will really bite as after one season they would be breaking EFL ffp rules and getting points deductions .

This is generally my thoughts. With potentially no incomings to freshen the squad up, where is the incentive to the current players.

 

He wanted guarantees of first team football, and wasn't going to get that with Declan Rice still at the club.
