like I say I trust Neil and his toenails know more about football management than me. I’d just love to hear the reason

 

Half ends with QPR pressing for that vital goal, this game is still in the balance after a great start

 

I wonder if its because QPR have a bit of pace up front and Wright isn't exactly the quickest and Alese is left footed so would probably mean re-jigging the back 3

 

I would have prefered to see Wright on tbh,

 

bloody loved that half a few scares but 90%all Sunderland

 

I bloody hate 2-0 half times, let’s hope this manager is as good as we think he is, otherwise it will be 2-2 or 2-3, I never fathomed out what some of our previous managers said at half time?

Might be as simple as for planning / continuity reasons, each of those back three have a deputy on the bench.

So Alese and Cirkin ; Batth and Wright and Ballard and O’Nien

 

Me too but, until Neil loses a game, I'll go along with absolutely anything tbh.

It will be this, wright can not play rcb at this level due to the pace and alese is a left footer. I actually think onien best postion would be in a back 3

 

so do I - my issue wasn’t O’Nien coming on, it was why the other two are on the bench if not to be used. But now I’ve thought about it, I’m seeing center back as a single position, and actually it’s three seperate ones with three different jobs. So we have a player to cover each.

 

Seems like an excellent performance so far S and S doing what we need them to, long may it continue!
