As the Tevez saga rolls on, rumours of his next club are ever increasing. Liverpool were rumoured to be interrested in Tevez when he left utd but ultimately he chose the large pay packet that city had to offer. Last season he was arguably the best player in the prem and captain of city, this year his fortunes have changed drematically. The Question is would you like to see Tevez at Liverpool after his recent problems? and what do you think a suitable offer for him would be?
Absolute class player who'd grace most teams in the world...I just can't help thinking though how unfortunate it is that he comes with his agent attached to his side. Personally I don't want that fella near Anfield anymore than is humanly possible. If Tevez did move to another English club (which I think is unlikely) then expect him to be moaning for another move within 18 months.
Why does this always crop up!!! THINK what his reasoning is behind wanting to move on from City - coming to Liverpool doesn't solve that.
Season Loan perhaps?Couldnt see it any other way especially with the agent and the high wage demands.
This post doesn't infer that Tevez is on his way to liverpool or that he wants to come! It simple asks would you have him after his tantrum and what do you think he's worth? Plus how do you know he won't move to another prem club, its where all the money is! and i have a feeling thats Tevez's main motavator.
It is a topic worthy of discussion as his agent has said today he would consider another prem club http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...ys-advisor-Kia-Joorabchian-article825204.html . To be honest I'm past caring what players get paid these days so what he got in wages wouldn't concern me as much as his ability to sulk and moan about how hard done by he is. I also think as he's been in the country for years now he should have had the decency to learn enough English to know when he's being asked to warm up Would I want him at Liverpool? A massive part of me says no thanks we'll do without...but I do have to consider how we'd be a far stronger side with him playing in a red shirt and I wouldn't half mind seeing him and Suarez up front
Ok, no I wouldn't want him as he is trouble. He is worth as much as the next fools are prepared to pay. Unless he goes to that ridiculously rich Russian team he will not get paid more than he does now.
The thought of him playing alongside the quality Gerrard and Suarez have is awesome, but he comes with his own baggage, and if you try and weigh up the potential benefits to the cost, then he might not be worth it. He would definitely bring something to the team, and would probably get top scorer this season too but he'd also cause trouble, his ego would get in the way if he gets subbed etc... he's not disciplined. All in all, he's not a good professional.
How much would we really complain though if we did sign him??? I suspect as with every other team he's played for the first 12-18months would be pretty enjoyable Maybe if we just accepted him as a great player who'll be off after two seasons it'd be a much easier signing to swallow Not that I think we're likely to go for him...just a thought
As much as I despise him for the way he has acted, I would take him on because he is quality. He would definately help us push for Champions League place and then we can get rid of him
In fairness the Stockbridge Lane Tea Rooms do serve delightful scones Tevez wouldn't be able to resist them
The Sayers delicatessen on Dovecot Boulevard would also be a big attraction and a swift half in Bugsy's to follow his sausage roll wont go amiss.
I do think the Sayers could do with getting a feather duster round the chandaliers once in a while though lowers the tone a bit
I was going to try and make a reasoned response to the OP but then - what the hell! - where can you get a good pastie in Liverpool?
