    I saw it as well. Quite disgusting really, as aforementioned there are individuals like this everywhere. Internet hardmen but in real life probably normal people. It is the problem with social networking these days.

    I bet in person he probably isn't that bad (I'd like to believe so) but sadly behind his internet persona acts like a tool.

    Both Chelsea and QPR fans have rightly condemned his actions though which is nice to see <ok>

    Had you considered that whilst appearing to have been to have been genuine irrespective of how long the account had existed the actual name is more than probable bogus. Things are very seldomly what they seem and jumping in is always unwise.

    Good point. I've changed the blog text slightly to read "a person apparently named Paul Brennan" rather than just "a person named Paul Brennan".

    That's normally what seems to happen with cases like this. I know it happened in the US after the Casey Anthony trial. There were men with the same name getting attacked halfway across the country.

    Unfortunetely the internet has given every moron a voice/forum; though in this case I suspect rather than making a comment just to be racist he has probably said something to try and annoy the player in question in some unnecessary protection of JT. Had JT's alleged comments been say anti-semitic instead I'm sure he'd have just as gladly put 'RT this you Jew ****'.

    These people probably aren't racist as such but football rivalry takes over their common sense. I'm sure he cheers on black Chelsea players as much as the white ones.

    On the flip side, how many rival fans are taking greater offence (or even pleasure sadly) from the JT saga just because they don't like the club or the player?
