Nah, I just didn't invest in my bench. Trippier is one of those ones you hope will get enough points over the course of a season to be worth just keeping in. He'll be on freekicks and corners. I don't plan to make many subs, subs are often a waste. I swapped Zaha for Martinelli, and I think I may use the £1m I have saved to buy Ederson as City will likely keep a tonne of clean sheets.
Fair enough. I preferred saving the cash to spend on my outfield, but I made a mistake with Zaha so I think I'll spend more cash on a GK now. I just didn't think the last bit of cash I had was worth spending on GK. But I like the look of City and I think they will be by far the strongest defence in the league this season, so Ederson will be worth playing week in week out, and I have 4m Ward to play in the odd game.
Mines not weird. Shelvey is a **** of a human being that plays, sadly, for my team. i just don’t understand how you can rate Martial, that’s all. I don’t get what he brings to a team?
I think since Roy left Palace they have added extra quality and Zaha is no longer the main man in a similar way to ASM under Bruce and now Howe.
I also didn't take into account Zaha's opening fixtures lol and how he can score randomly like JWP. Martinelli is just too much of an attractive option and cheaper, and with great fixtures for the next 10 games.

Fair enough. This is why I kind of invested in a strong defence because you can play a team like mine almost the same week in week out and it will play out over the course of a season. I kind of found the idea of having two decent 4.5m GK's and rotating them, like Sanchez Guaita. That would be an interesting challenge.
Will probably bench trippier for Andreas in GW3 when we play City... and watch Trippier score a belter.
I could bench tripps for this next game but there's a decent chance we may keep a clear sheet or score. But perrera against Wolves is tempting.
