Ignore that, he just rang me and they were £110 each and he's looking at getting better seats this morning for more.
The tickets sold out in three minutes (even the single tickets) and touts are already selling them for up to £500.
I’ve just got tickets for Springsteen next year on Ticketmaster presale..paid a fortune . But like with BD probably last chance.
I would rather not say as I do not know who may be reading this.suffice to say I may have breached household FFP. Seems most of the tickets were on presale. Can never understand this presale concept.
Went to see The Vapors last night at Adelphi, ably supported by Burnsy’s favourites The Ming City Rockers….. very good. Can’t get out of this late 70’s musical time warp I’m stuck in…….. next up Stiff Little Fingers
Unless it's changed, you get a choice of Jake Burns without Stiff Little Fingers, or Stiff Little Fingers without Jake Burns. The latter are generally much lower priced tickets, but either are well worth a watch.
Stiff Little Fingers are now 50% of the original band, Jake Burns and Oli McMordie got back together in 2006 and the guitarist and drummer have been playing with Burns since the mid 90's.
How you getting there? Will today go down as the day you caught the train? Or are you crossing the Humber by riverboat? I'm supposed to be packing an awning away but it's too hot and I'm bored.
Saw Peter Green & friends play there when he started doing a few little gigs again: his wonderful voice had faded but he could still really play - helped by a venue with very good acoustics, I thought it was alright. NB I am going back a few years though
I've always thought 'The Circle' would be good song to play in the pre match build up. As well as the title being where we play in a fashion, some of the lyrics are weirdly reflective of a matchday at City.
They were excellent, the sound was a little dodgy in parts (you couldn't really hear what they were saying when they were talking), but the songs themselves were fine. It's the third time I've seen Steve Cradock recently and I'm still amazed at how easy he makes it look.
