Speaking from personal experience, if you make a bad decision when you're running the bulls, it really ****ing hurts.
yeah, a few times when I was living in Calpe, it's a great adrenaline rush until you realise the gap you're trying to escape the charging bull through isn't quite big enough. then you discover the well known saying is a ****ing load of **** and you should never try to take a bull by the horns, they do not like it at all and become very very upset. I did, however, manage to make it to the ambulance under my own steam.
That's it. If you want to wind the bull up... Show it some respect and fight it to the death. I wouldn't have minded if the bull had crashed through and started mauling spectators. **** them for going to watch it. This shouldn't be happening in this day and age
My view on macho types that want to kill a lion, ... and have a trophy pic taken? ... ... leave your rifle at home ... take a spear and a shield and show just how much of a man you really are ... otherwise, get to ****, you uber ****
Worse thing about that is the lions are hand reared so used to humans and too young to mate so no battle scars to ruin the trophy head
