One aspect that I haven’t seen mentioned too much about Adams is that he has two years left on his contract. High end estimates I found are circa 50k a week

Perhaps he either has no intention of extended or wants something like 75-80k for at least four years and we don’t think that is good value?

Lots of people were suggesting in the second half of the season that this would be the window to sell Salisu if he didn’t extend. Same logic for Che surely? Granted we are much shorter in his position and seem like we would have to sell to relegation rivals

Perhaps he's homesick? He is from up north anyway.

Assuming this is a loan, a good move for him.

Absolutely no issue if it's a permanent and there's a half decent amount of money involved.

Joao Pedro seems a very good signing. Sarr confusingly kept getting linked with man united for a long time

Pedro is apparently a loan and Sarr is 25m

Why don’t we leave KWP on the right and sign a LB?

Because we have a left back already - who can’t play on the right. But a right back who can’t play of the left. The cover we are looking for is for a KWP injury prior to Tino’s return

And what if Peraud gets injured? We need 2 players in each position. We’re lucky that we have 2 excellent RB’s but I would prefer to have a natural LB on the left.

So when Tino is back we will have 3 RB’s and one LB?

If the option is there, I'd take Watkins. They might want 33m, we can go for more like 20 + add-ons .

It may well open up the option of a front 2 again if Che is staying and they can work together
