    No, it isn't. FIFA have wanted an excuse for years to take away the four FA's from Scotland, NIreland, Wales and England and this would make their case stronger. Plus, Olympics football is ****ing ****e. Can you imagine having a player injured taking part in a competition no one gives a **** about?

    Have FIFA not said that they can take part as GB and the FA's would remain. Surely to **** we could put a team of reserve team players then, if you were worried about them getting injured.

    I thought this olympic team was made up of under 23s or under 25s or some such.

    I would have no problem with a few of the younger scottish players taking part but we do need to be careful of the rights of the home nations and FIFA are not to be trusted.

    besides an english manager is only going to look at players playing in the english game.
    mainly english players with a few token players from the other home nations.
