Another shambolic performance . Complete domination in first half, only one team in it.
The second half was unbelievable. Swans were shocking. Did they go to the pub ?
Anything can happen with penalty shoot out, but Oxford can't believe their luck.

    That’s 9 games without a win …..

That’s another game where we’ve blown it from a winning position - Reading, Bournemouth and now bloody Oxford

Vetch - if it were your Club and your money, would you keep Martin?

Think of all the ‘lost’ cash from a decent cup run?

    No surprise to me.

I was surprised to learn that The Swans were 2-0 up, though. <laugh>

Exactly ! I had the same shock when I looked and saw we were winning 2-0. It shouldn't be that way.

If it were my Club, I wouldn't have sacked Michael Laudrup.<laugh>

That was then - this is now!

Jenkins sacked Laudrup, not the yanks.

Come on, what would you do?

RM’s substitutions would seem to have backfired big time:

Swansea City: Steven Benda; Joel Latibeaudiere (Azeem Abdulai 61), Ben Cabango (captain), Harry Darling (Nathan Wood 60), Ryan Manning (Olivier Ntcham 60); Jay Fulton (Joe Allen 60), Ollie Cooper; Nathanael Ogbeta, Cameron Congreve (Joel Cotterill 78), Matty Sorinola; Liam Cullen.

Martin will have learned something tonight, viz, Oxford's second string are better than Swansea's second string.

Tonight's result was embarrassing. Shame on them.

Swansea City sacked Laudrup, WITH the tacit approval of most Swansea fans, who had decided Laudrup should be replaced by Monk. The rest, as they say...

I have no real opinion on whether Martin should be sacked. Other than it's too early in the season for such a major decision.

I tend not to take too much heed of League tables until end of October, by which time things will have become a lot clearer.
If The Swans' are near the foot of the table at that juncture, then it would perhaps be prudent for the owners to review his tenure.

Perhaps Swansea's squad just aren't good enough.

Constant insults and abuse aimed at the Owners, and Manager, just aren't very helpful.

Why are you pushing me for an answer ?

You sound just like you did when demanding that Laudrup, Monk, and Bradley get sacked. Remember those heady days.

Calm down. It's just a game.

Lots of crazy results tonight. The beauty of the Cup.

Well done all the triumphant underdogs.

The Swans' have been there, so know the pleasures of unexpected victories.

I’m not sure that I demanded that Laudrup get sacked - I could ‘understand’ it, but don’t recall that I was in the vanguard.

Just surprised that you won’t give your opinion….

I think most fans, at the time, were surprised that Monk got the gig <cheers>

I have given it. If you want me to join the gang and demand he get sacked, well that's not going to happen.

I've never done that, and I'm not going to start now. <cheers>

So you’d keep him - you’ve obviously seen enough progress over these 50 or so games?

    <cheers>
