Indeed, they couldn't handle Man City, poor bastards have no hope vs Sess & co. god help them if Elmo plays haha
I just hope we try and pass the ball and give it a go, if we put 11 men behind the ball they will eventually break us down and win. The only thing we can try is going for it, not stupidly but trying to play football and create chances.
Ok let's be honest. Had we beaten City we might be suffering from a bit of over-confidence, but we didn't, we got absolutely mauled by our neighbours, our 2nd most hated team. Approximately 73,000 Manchester United fans paid their way into Old Trafford for that derby match and were served up the biggest pile of turd ever by our team. So with that in mind, our players owe us a massive apology, and the only currency that works in terms of apologies is ruthless batterings of the next team that steps out in front of them. Now yeah, we've had to play a few games in between, including tomorrow night in the Champions League, but don't kid yourselves into thinking that will ease the pain. United fans demand a response, and that will mean crushing every team that's put in front of us. Cleverley is back, which is more bad news for The Black Cats too, he is our next generation of engine. I don't like making predictions but I guarantee you no other team in this league would swap your fixture with you this weekend.
That derby game (against your second hated team) plus years of absolute tripe must be hard to deal with, my deepest sympathies.
