I agree 100%. If we used it like we've used it before we'd end up signing Michael Owen, Boumsong or Marcelino again, and as well as being **** they are probably a bit too old now too!
I am convinced Nunez will score more goals than Haaland this season. Haaland doesn’t fit into Man City slow pace of play. Caveat: I don’t think!!!!
I'll probably end up eating my words but I'm not convinced Foden, Haaland, Grealish is an upgrade of what they had previously. Players like Sterling and Jesus are a massive gamble to show the door to, I think they've given up pace for technical ability but casually ignored that players like Grealish get 5-6 goals a season whilst Sterling has hit double figures every year for 6 or so years. There's a massive reliance on Haaland scoring 20+ goals now... There's much less pressure on Nunez I'd say.
I agree. And that’s the issue with Haaland. He’s more of a brute of a player running into space. On the counter and his main strength is running into gaps onto through balls. He will score goals. But I don’t think Man City’s pass pass pass suits him. Watch his movement. In tight spots he isn’t that mobile.
