No. I wouldn't have classified that as Fantasy. Totally boring as well - not something that could be said of the book I'm thinking of. English author, although the name suggests otherwise.
That's the one. I've no idea how much the Nobel prize was worth back then, or whether Tolkien was miffed at missing out on it - but I suspect he may have had the last laugh. All yours.
Naughty practical joke with the humble Chorizo being touted as an image captured by the James Webb telescope by a French physicist... I'm "following" the JWT.
Spot on - I have to admit that his photo of Proxima Centauri was more believable than mine though. Over to you.
Whose lawyers recently made a crass error which cost their client millions and the said client may well face criminal proceedings as a result?
Alex Jones - whose lawyers accidentally released texts/e-mails to the parents of a victim of the Sandy Hook massacre , who are suing him for his attempts to describe the incident as a hoax ?
Yup. Nearly $50m in all, and this was just the first of several actions against him. Nasty, horrible, bloke. I rather suspect that his lawyers found something on his phone that they couldn't ignore separate from the case. All yours...
Is it Cliff Bastin, signed from Exeter after Chapman saw him play against Watford in 1929. Bastin played once for a wartime Watford.
I said it was easy ! In fact Chapman went to Exeter to watch an (unidentified) Watford player , but was so impressed by Bastin that he signed him instead. I don't think an agent was involved. Bastin went on to become a true legend, holding several goal-scoring records (whilst playing mostly as a winger) until eclipsed by Ian Wright & Thierry Henry. There again, Bastin had the benefit of Alex James providing him with the chances. Over to You.
Thanks, JT. Which Watford manager has the worst GD per game managed ratio? Not including caretaker managers, although you probably could!
