Interesting that on the government website, where it calculates the amounts of tax paid by energy companies, all the companies that extract gas or oil from the earth (by whatever means) are considered to be energy companies.

Somebody else has already pointed out the first reason that you are factually inaccurate because a whole bunch of “energy companies” (by your definition) have gone bust due to their poor business models; and clearly as a proper brain dead Leftie you hate the idea of people having paid into pension schemes to provide themselves with an income in their dotage and those pension schemes generating an income from owning shares in “energy companies”.

Expect serious disruption to supply chains as the unions go on strike at Felixstowe, causing shortage of goods, which results in inflation of prices. Then expect complaints from the unions about a cost of living crisis caused by prices going up due to issues with supply chains... <ok>

Aye and their income from their shares in energy companies will go straight back into the coffers of said energy companies to pay their gargantuan energy bills whilst they survive on eating bark through the winter. Unless of course their dotage gets severe. Then Westminster will make them sell their house to pay for social care in England.

Thank fùck I live in socialist Scotland where social care is paid for by the government. I will even get my dotage meds free of charge.

    Happy days.

'Archers Road' was quite funny during the week.

Something along the lines of 'what I would know about war.'

Stick to Battleships or whatever it's called these days.

Yeh because without that, it would all be sunny uplands, there'd be no inflation, no cost of living crisis, and all Truss's promises of tax reductions and no recession would seem just dandy. Dickead.

The fact we ARE ALREADY in the mess you describe thanks to brexit and the collosal ****show dumped on us by the incompetence and corruption and nepotism of the charlatans in charge YOU voted for, seems lost on a thick **** like you.

But yeh, dockers going on strike for a week is going to be the cause of the country's collapse you complete and utter cretin <doh>

Anyone claiming losing Bojo was a massive loss to the opposition needs to think again. If he was Oliver Hardy, she's Stan Laurel incoming. Fcking hell <laugh>
