You’re not wrong on the Armstrong point but I’d like to think our recruitment isn’t finished there. And Valery played well in that poison both last season against spurs and in pre season

For Spurs to 'run out' of water when we've been stood in that heat for 45 minutes is frankly ****ing pathetic.

So there really does seem to be something in this thought that Ralph doesn’t rate Che. But Adam Armstrong is not up to it at premier league level either. If we are getting rid of Che we need two strikers in and I’m not sure I see it

That said the plan seemed to be two in even with no more out that Broja and Long

 

Yeah I get what you’re saying, but it is obviously the strategy of the club to go for these players as a priority over more established players (even ones we can afford like Mee on a free as an example). Whether you agree with that as a general philosophy is up to you but I don’t expect us to be signing another CB unless Bednarek or Salisu leave

Do appreciate there are reasons, but to make six signings, and still be playing the same back three as last season, still be picking Djenepo at full back and to not have a single striker on the pitch while Che Adams is sat right there... pretty baffling and at best, not great optics.
