I'd stick with Burn. Most clean sheets than any other player last season in our side, defensively he's our strongest CB proven. Schar is trickier on the ball, but Burn is more solid defensively I'd say. Plus his height is very useful from set plays.
On the day I was in the middle of the Forest fans in the Flag Corner of the Gallowgate. No segragation in those days. One second we were having some banter with them and the next they were legging it out the back of the Gallowgate End. If anyone ever looked it was one fat bloke trying to get on the pitch and then followed by a load of kids. Never believed the Forest players were genuinely frightened when they came back on as was subsequently claimed. Not, at least until we got our second one anyway.
Burn's a great option to have, but he's not a starter. Schar is a better player all round and Botman is the LCB. It's very specific that we'll have a right centre back and a left, not just two defender (like Man U seem to do). There's a plan in this and playing out from the back is important, with Schar ahead of Burn in that regard too. Nowt wrong with having a Dan Burn on the bench. Otherwise the XI picks itself - and that's the only concern because some of that XI aren't great, so will we become too predictable? Big day for Almiron. If he has a stinker, he'll be back to square one.
Would love Miggy to have a strong start to the season. Get some confidence in him early so he can carry on his pre season scoring form
