Well i have no idea what last night on our board was all about and to be honest i don't care. I come onto this Football Forum to read, digest and discuss,The only thing i care about related to football "Southampton Football Club" of course the banter and wind up with our old fishy friends along the coast is quite important too. So can we all start a fresh today and get back to the most important thing on here Southampton Football Club
I totally disagree. The members of this board have given me great pleasure with their comments and opinions about the Saints and we have been able to do so in a mature way without the sort of nasty nonsense you see on the Echo and the News message boards. Go there if you want free reign on what you say or read but this board has a more inteligent and mature approach to debate and it is VERY WELL MODERATED.
Amen. Those numpties that want the freedom to talk as they wish should go elsewhere. Moderation is exactly that. If you dont like it leave the rest of us in peace. Who cares if threads get deleted. I have more important things to worry about. And even if the moderators are going power crazy does it really matter in the scheme of things. However I have to say the level of posting and moderation has been first class on this site and thats why I come back. I have never posted on the dail echo website for the same reason.
Stopped reading and went to bed. Had a horrible vision that when I came down it would either still be going on or the site would have been closed down. Think it was a vociferous few and some of them must be embarassed this morning.
I expect nothing else from the general chat posse, they can cause trouble in a empty room. But, I'm disappointed with some of our own last night. Some embarrassed people floating around today........ I hope.
Also agree. Have enjoyed using this site as it is the first forum I've ever used for anything. Its a good site, and has some interesting views and different personalities. Sometimes people have gone off topic, but its actually culminated into some interesting debates although never too nasty or vindictive. Yesterday however was different! What do we want, to talk ****, when do we want to, now! Just nonsense.
Have also enjoyed this site.....whether the few who ran amok have a warranted greivance with the site, mods etc....I don't know. What I do know, genuine greivance or not the way they went about addressing it was totally unacceptable. Can't account for the idiots who come on from other boards and join in but the one's regular on here should be ashamed, genuine greivance or not!! I'm no prude but the language and vitroil towards anyone trying to reason with them was at times venomous.
It was just one of those days that happen now and then, It is at times like this I wish I had listened to my mother, what did she say? I have no idea I never listened................
It may be over but in the village called southampton the local population of inbreds and half wits still look like they are wearing halloween masks ...
I don't see what the threat of going stale is all about - football is a continuous thing with continually new things to discuss. However if individuals don't like it or think it is going stale then they are under no obligation to come here?
