Guys it would appear that we have only been allocated 1,024 tickets for this with no mention of more being available ..... Ricoh will be half empty and surely we would take 3k+ to this
My friend asked the ticket office and they said more will become available if needed. I agree that we'll probably take at least 3000 especially with fans trying get as many away games in as possible before the Pompey ballot...
yeah i dont understand it either, but my aunt got 4 tickets on thursday and the ticket office didnt say that we had nearly sold out or anything so i presume not many people are going.
Coventry doesn't exactly get the blood boiling does it? You don't look at the fixture list at the beginning of the season and think: Oooh. Coventry. Mustn't miss that! Perhaps people are saving their money for other games. Bet there will still be a decent number going though.
Coventry is one my closest games and am taking three other East Mids Saints with me! Ricin is a very good stadium, easy to get to and am expecting a victory
there will be more if the demand is there otherwise unless it is 'all ticket' which I doubt they would end up with loads of Saints Fans paying on the gate and mixing in with the home crowd which wouldn't be desirable to them or the police.
I don't get that comment, every saints game gets my juices flowing simply because i go to watch saints, don't care what team we're playing to be honest.
I always go to Coventry away as I too live nr Northampton (30 miles from cov), however just moved into new house and Boro yesterday, p'boro Tuesday..... I'm going to have to start some serious grovelling!!!
I'm going to this one and can't wait. I'll be right at the back in row JJ, excited! I would have thought we would easily exceed 1000...so it is surprising that we haven't been allocated more. I'll have to make extra noise for those not coming
I asked the ticket office about this a while ago and they said there would be no problem getting more tickets if we need them - so get your ticket now. I'll be there.
last time I went to the away game at coventry was way back when WGS was their manager. I was in an executive box ( well a three tier portakabin in the corner) and it was a dull, and I MEAN DULL 1 - 1 draw. The Coventry fans were singing for WGS to be sacked, so we joined in, much to the annoyance of our Coventry supporting host. I would expect a much different result this time round!!
Anyone know if we can pay on the day. I have just moved house and at the moment have no "pass", but thinking if I unpack enough boxes Friday and get the curtain poles up, I may get a late reprieve!
