Good Luck <ok>

Yes, it is a bit quiet, but I would expect things will liven-up a bit tomorrow. Had a good look at the cards today, usual bunch of tricky races, but I did spot one who could be a sporting wager for a modest stake, so here goes:

In the finalé Class-4 Handicap at Haydock this evening (20:37), Atacama Desert has a sound chance of a good run. Welll-bred gelding by Galileo out of Pivotal mare, hasn't raced too much but was twice second. Didn't have the run of the race apparently when only 6th LTO 55-days ago at the tricky Chester track. Forecast good-to-soft ground should be ideal, at a distance just short of 1-1/2 miles. Excellent jockey, David Alan, rides for the Kevin Frost yard. 4/1 is the best price at time of writing.

Wait till national hunt season will then pick up

only one i done today is haggis one at Brighton know its short price fav

Useful sort this. Won quite easily in the end, with David Alan not having to give the gelding a hard race. More to come from Atacama Desert, I'm sure, especially when there's a bit of cut in the ground.
