This time last year nobody could even be arsed to do a proper match day thread and most of us still thought Joelinton was gash.

    https://www.not606.com/threads/line-up-v-west-ham.394520/

A lot has changed in that year and this is just the beginning.

Ashley, Penfold, all the Steve’s, Gayle, Hendricks, Hayden, Sports Direct signs….all gone! I’m happy enough with that to start with but then you consider this :-

PIF, Staveley, Rueben, Howe, Tindall, Ashworth, Eaves, Bruno, Botman, Targett, Pope, Tripps all brought in. The rise of Joelinton, freshly painted bogs with new signs on them, salty tears flowing from every ****ing orifice and the mackems still riding around rent free in our minds on their moral high horses wielding their apathy shields, pitch forks and human rights banners….we have a hell of a lot to be positive about ahead of the new season.

I wonder how different things will look 1 year on again from now!

Hopefully by this time next year, all trace of any mustard chinos will also be completely gone. Then we can truly rejoice.

I take it this is sarcasm. Have you seen the latest match thread?

I mean he posted the names of the officials but forgot to include the referee.

    You hypocrite.

    Minimalist definition:
When you live as a minimalist, you strive to only use things that serve a purpose. It's about living simply and having only what you need to go about your daily life.

What a difference a year makes. I'm actually looking forward to a season for one thing. Just knowing we might play football, perhaps even win some games, rather than a dire slide towards the relegation zone with the best we can hope for being fractionally less sh!te than the teams who actually go down.

It must be the same for the players remaining.

How **** it must have been for them under Bruce. Losing every game. Getting hammered possession wise. The fans on their backs.

This has kick started a lot of their careers.

Don't get me wrong, Bruce was stinking bad....... However there is no way those players get off with being so unfit at the start of the season. It was shocking. Professional athletes should not be gasping for air after only10 minutes.

What you have to remember is the conditions they where working in. They are athletes yes. But they are also humans and human nature is to take the piss.

They where only training for 3 days a week. Danny Rose even stated he couldn’t believe it.

Rumours where that Shelvey was spending more time on the golf course than training.

Bruce was a lazy bastard and set the standard and the players obliged with pomp.

I do accept your point but they are not going to say no to days off.

I get that mate, but there is also a thing called professional pride, and as an athlete to be blowing out their arse within 10 minutes (not all of them) is unacceptable and inexcusable. Yes they weren't getting the technical and tactical training at the ground, but they could have gone jogging to lose some timber and get fitter.
