How are Everton even buying players? I thought they were on their arse in debt. Baffling all this like.
Looks like Leicester want to keep Maddison. Don't blame them, but we must move on. I'd have Paqueta. But we'll be be a very good team as we are
What have Everton done, like? Only official news is Chelsea wasting another young talent's career. I mean, who the **** advises these kids? Chukiewukee (sp) isn't getting a game at Chelsea, will sit and rot, then go on loan to the Champ, then rot some more, then become yet another woulda/shoulda/coulda.
Wasn't it Burnley and Leeds last season going to try and take Everton to task but nothing came of it,surprise surprise!
West Ham activated Cornets release clause. I feel like I’d sign Free Willy at this rate, just anyone will do. (Not really but getting a bit bored)
I don't think we were ever interested in him, agents and media spouting ****e to bump up the price along with 50 other players,Maddison/Ekitike genuine so I'm going with other irons in the fire!
I'm not convinced we were really bothered about Cornet either. Basically, if we were, he'd already be at the Toon. We know that because of Wood. If we want a player and he has a release clause, we'll just pay it. Therefore, we didn't really want him. Maddison has assumed the role of top target for the RW and No.11. Then it'll be a prospect for CF and the no. 19. I think Howe will stick with his CM for the moment - Maddison can, of course, step in there if needed or give us a 4-2-3-1 option as well. I think we'll get Maddison in 2-3 days time. Then it'll be a staring contest for Sesko, Broja or someone similar (Kaladzic, for example). A tall, modern striker. That will conclude the business, unless a last minute deal pops up for a CB.
Werner's wages is £240,000 a week,we're not willing to pay that unless Chelsea chip in and pay half for a season, can't see that one happening,I have a feeling something will happen.
We’ll get Maddison for £45m plus add ons of £10m. Presumably they’ll offer a nice bonus if we achieve CL qualification within 3 years to sweeten the deal.
If you could guarantee Wilson would stay fit for the first half of the season I'd be o.k. going with what we have until January, maybe a RW as well but Fraser and Miggy have come on loads under Howe so again I wouldn't be to worried about that as a position. Also think Anderson could be used out wide - a bit less responsibility than in the middle of the park and get him squaring up 1 v 1's against a full back looks like it'll suit his game.
Looks like Forest are spunking more money on another striker: Nottingham Forest are interested in 24-year-old Dutch striker Jizz Hornkamp, who would become the club's 13th signing of the summer if he joins from Willem II. I heard he didn’t do much the 2020-21 season but last season he came good.
