I see Liz Truss had to back down on one of her disastrous ideas within the same day because it was so ridiculous. Instead of "Levelling up", she wants a regional pay, so that people in the North get paid proportionately even less than those in the South than they do already. She's a gobshite, willing to say what she thinks the public want to hear and what her party wants to hear. But she's clueless and in my opinion gutless. It's easy to pick on the weak or say things because people will like you more. It takes courage to stand up for what you actually believe in. The problem with Liz Truss is that she doesn't actually know what she believes in.
The post I get through the door mate they can keep it, don't think there's a single letter comes through my door that I actually want
It says everything about the Tory Party that the two candidates are trying to be the biggest **** to other humans to get elected.
All the other parties with zero policies are just waiting for them to hang themselves so they can get in through the back door, makes me full of hope for the future.
Will say anything to anybody to gain political advantage.... which is okay for her cos she doesn't believe in anything
Frankie Boyle has just been saying inflation is sky high, but nobody has had any wage rises yet, you don’t think it could be down to companies profiteering do you?
She's another Boris. He just wanted the prestige, profile and privilege of the job ... ... absolutely no interest in actually doing the job. The worst Churchill impersonator since Mel Smith
I’m not politically savvy, but it seems to me that if they can argue and discredit each other’s ideas and policies so strongly, to me it means there’s no conservative way or agreed policy and they believe it’s all down to their individual wishes - that can’t be good for a party. I don’t think either will last to be leader at 2024 election
Sir Keir Starmer has been found to have breached the MPs' code of conduct by failing to register eight interests on time, including gifts from football teams and the sale of a plot of land. The standards commissioner launched an investigation in June after complaints the Labour leader had been late to register income and hospitality. Kathryn Stone said the breaches were "minor and/or inadvertent". A Labour spokesperson said Sir Keir had apologised for the errors. The commissioner initially began to investigate after complaints Sir Keir had failed to register three instances of income and hospitality and then found four further instances of late entries. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-62431183
What an absolute **** Keir Starmer is.... Getting free tickets for football games and selling piece of land that he owned. That's it, I am never voting Labour again.
