The nightmare of the last week has surely got to come to an end on Tuesday. I think the lads owe us a big prezzie. A nice little 6-0 win could start to make me feel a bit better!
Start of the season if someone had told me we'd lose 3-1 to United, 1-0 to QPR and 5-3 to Arsenal, I'd have laughed in their face. I would play the youngsters against Genk; Josh, Oriol, Bertrand etc. Maybe even start Sturridge on his own with Anelka and Mata each side. We need a riot of goals on Genk on Blackburn - two teams we SHOULD be giving a thumping.
Truth is Drogs --we should have given QPR and Arsenal a thumping! But we didn't and thats why I'm a bag of nerves!
I agree, QPR definitely. Arsenal I just believe our defence were a shambles and a true reflection of what they've been all season, maybe this was what they needed to shape up and start behaving like the force they once were!
If we won't to do it properly, no fecking high line! Against Genk I'm not worried, well play youth, but against Blackburn our line up should be- Cech Ivan-Alex-Terry-Cole Rami-Romeu-Miereles Anelka-Torres-Mata No stupid high line and no players loosing posetion for fun. I swear if Sturridge plays another 50 yard back pass I might loose all faith in him.
I'm with you on the Blackburn line up Varier , but not sure about the omission of Lamps! He's our leading goalscorer after all!
I think the main reason Arsenal beat us yesterday was because we tried to play their game and we've only been playing it for 2months so thinking about it logically it was always to going to end one way, although me like a lot of people didn't think about it logically lol. Barca are the masters of the fast paced attacking football theres no doubting that, Man u tried to play their way in the CL final last season and got absouletely ruined, Arsenal the same at Barca, now were playing a totally different style of play than were use to so in theory between us and arsenal there the masters of the fast paced attacking football as they've been playing it longer so it was only going to end one way. I still think our attacking threat is a lot better than arsenals though and when we sort the defence out 100% were be able to rival barcalona, we've only been playing it for 2months were adapt more to it after this season. I think footballs really changed though, with the mourinho era it was get a goal then defend defend defend and it was impossible to break us down, but i feel footballs changed and hardly any teams can manage to do that and to be competitive you need to play fast attacking football, Spains definitely changed the basis of the game within the last 3 years
And hopefully were be back to winning ways tuesday and then record back to back wins at the weekend and get the ball rolling again, 2 clean sheets would be nice !!
Spooky...you sound just like someone else...Why don't you nip onto the Spurs board and start tonguing Ensils arse you rancid old twat
