If it were possible to put an effective but not view restricting net up, I say do that and fine away teams per kg of debris caught by it
We’re about half a billion pounds behind them in the transfer market. We’ll have to make do with playing like us for now.

I don't think we are easy to defend against. Some of our attacking play in the first half especially was fantastic...and Pritchard was brilliant.
I thought police used camera surveillance inside the stadium or is that another casualty of the civil rights lobby.
I couldn’t give a toss if it is a view restricting net, they could use breeze blocks if they want. They might stop throwing things then.
A few year ago I was near a kid in the east having a tab it was enveloped by his had but it was picked up on the cameras so they shouldn’t struggle to spot folk throwing stuff
Any other poster and I'd be convinced this was tongue in cheek. Why doesn't everyone just play like Liverpool or Man City, these managers don't have a clue !
Away fans should never have been out there in the first place, their capacity should have been reduced behind the goal so we didn't end up with huge gaps in the crowd. Or is this too simplistic a view.
It's difficult Cumbrian, when away fans were in the South Stand we had a sliding wall to segregate them but also give them access to the concourse. It could be set at 1000, 2000 or 3000 (or something along those lines), but because it was variable the club decided to make the rest of the south stand match day sales only. According to Steve Davison, our average match day sale is 850. The South stand holds circa 8000 so on normal match days with a full away section we would have 3850 in the South stand leaving 4000 empty seats, more with less away ticket's sold.
What it is is too blinking obvious, and far too sensible Having them in the South/South west area must be far too safe to consider when someone 'of importance' at the club would rather risk numerous injuries to us in The Fulwell End
One of the first things dad said to me Sunday was "I wonder if our new seats are far enough back to not get stuff thrown on us" I saw the lad just over from us show the green bottle to the stewards and the blue coated steward in the top tier pretty much just shrugged his shoulders
