As someone said earlier when we got twatted at your place only 3 games ago, as the 5th went in our fans were doing the conga, you lot get beat and your still pissing crying and moaning about a penalty and a deflection, 3 days later, it all comes round in the end, as well you all know.
The difference is at 5-0 down it's well and truly over, and was the end of the season, so it didn't matter. It was a fun day out for the few fans you brought down, in a great city. Whereas, for us on Sat, it was the first game of the season, away at Hull.... and we lost to a VERY dodgy penalty and massive deflection. Not apples for apples.
But again, you have seen video and photo evidence it was a foul, so it was a penalty, if Tetteh did the Dance of the seven veils after getting fouled, it wouldn’t have changed the refs mind, it was a foul in the box, so a penalty, we will get one like that very soon, but sensible fans complain a bit, then let it go, agree about the deflection though. You will get exactly the same soon and some oppo fans will moan like **** for days hoping God will change the result,
The playing stats favoured us, we had you on the ropes in the 2nd half, but I would have been happy with the draw on 90 mins, we got lucky. Good luck for the rest of the season, we both need it.
Top man respect to you -a draw would have been a fair result. But I really think VAR needs to be brought into the championship for everyone’s sake.
