The 'Labour Way' as more commonly known.

'So, Hugh (Starmer) - what would you have done?'

    'Erm...erm...erm'

A senior Labour MP received more than £500,000 from a Chinese agent engaged in “political interference activities” in the UK on behalf of the communist regime, it has emerged.

Barry Gardiner received the donations from Christine Ching Kui Lee – mainly to cover staffing costs in his office – over a period of six years,

"Yet, for many reasons, Corbyn is uniquely unsuitable to be prime minister. This is someone who accepted money from Iran to present on the government-affiliated channel Press TV and who invited Linda Quigley and Gerry MacLochlainn, both convicted of activity connected to the Irish Republican Army, to Parliament just two weeks after the IRA had killed five people and almost assassinated the British prime minister in the 1984 Brighton bombing."

Liebour just can't help themselves - they are totally unelectable and are indeed, a threat to British security.

They are the scourge of the nation.

Labour and the Chinese government are a lot alike, keep people dependant on the state, keep control of the people.

You clearly have no idea whatsoever how equity markets work. When EDF was privatised in 2004, the French State ceased to control it even though they retained 84.5 per cent of the stock. So EDF’s massive debts and pension deficit are currently on the company’s books, not owned by the French taxpayer. The State owns the majority of the shares but they do not run the business – the company’s board and management run the business. The French government can exert influence over how the business is run through its energy policy; and that policy equally applies to all energy companies operating in France. EDF is the biggest player in the market with more than 80 per cent of domestic residential customers, a figure that is falling.

In 2021, EDF’s UK business made a loss due to operational difficulties with its nuclear reactors but according to you it made £106bn profit. Keep living your fact free fantasy, or you could go on the EDF website and look at the 2021 annual report dated 18 Feb 2022: EBITDA 2021 United Kingdom -€21m.

“If Boris can be blamed for events in Number 10 when he was not there because he was the boss, Starmer can be blamed for the non-prosecution of Jimmy Savile when he was the boss as Director of Public Prosecutions.”

Some great own goals tonight, Muggy.

Keep living your fantasy in France. How would you know that somebody that was drowning supported Brexit? Any trade war will be entirely the fault of the intransigent Brussels Politburo, nothing to do with the Russians. No sign of this alleged civil war – most of the English could not care less about the Scottish independence minority.

To think, silly Stan and Co kept claiming they had stats to show remainers were the better educated ones. That claim hasn't aged well on these threads. <laugh>
