    Should have been done for first round of games after it all happened as a gesture/show of solidarity and then as you were. Even black players stopped doing it ****ing ages ago!!

    Was a good gesture to raise awareness but sort of lost its impact. Most people just saw it happen and thought no more of it.

    You’d hope they’ve done some consultations with relevant people/groups and come to that conclusion.

    How much impact it had, difficult to say. Don’t think someone that shouts racist abuse at someone is going to stop just because a group of players take a knee, but if it highlighted point to others to maybe encourage them to speak out on people doing it.

    Like most things it’s a society issue rather than just a football issue though, how you combat that, not sure.
