Not ideal, but he was unlikely to play in the first game or two anyway. Let's hope he at least spends this time well and gets used to the new environment quickly.
Hull City goalkeeper Nathan Baxter is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after revealing that he has dislocated his finger. Baxter picked up the injury during the club's pre-season training camp in Spain and will miss the opening weeks of the season.
The big tart...I played with numerous broken fingers, probably explains why they are as bent as a 5 bob note now mind!
Was discussing this with Askew today. Way back when, it seems the eleven who started, started every week with a sub for injury. I'm sure there was a squad of some size, but it did always seem to be the same team week in week out barring any major injuries.
Looking forward to the new season as always but genuinely don’t have a clue how it’s all going to pan out. We play some good sides early doors so it’s going to be interesting how we do in August and beyond. I hear Season Ticket sales are on the up which is great to see but without getting carried away and listening to the big Turk this season looks like being a season of steady improvement and transition rather than an assault on the play offs. Either way football’s back… UTT.
Not far behind Billy Bly then? https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51S12DPBZVL._SX327_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg
City have a rare free week before Saturday's trip to Deepdale where they'll face Preston North End, and Shota Arveladze's squad could be boosted by the return of Ryan Longman, Randell Williams and Mallik Wilks, though Brandon Fleming, Nathan Baxter, Dogukan Sinik and James Scott remain out.
I think he himself be leaving a few marks on other players. He doesn’t bottle challenge that’s for sure.
He'll be in the prem within 2seasons (he's already getting a lot of chatter ) imo.... Hopefully with us
