It seems that the union leaders are the only ones speaking any sense at the moment Leach and Dempsey for the RMT Ward and Pullinger for the CWU and Sharon Graham for Unite are the only ones talking straight and taking no crap from the wonky eyed loonies that the right are putting out there , the so called journalists need to take a good look in the mirror
Dan Walker (IIRC) is about the only journalist who actually treated Lynch as somebody to be interviewed, as opposed to a specimen to be studied and ridiculed
The good thing is that no matter how hard they have tried to belittle or vilify him, all they have done is enhance his reputation!

Someone points out in the comments that the CWU are also Labour affiliated, while the RMT isn't. Not sure if that came into the Tarry decision, but it does seem worth mentioning.
True, the CWU are still Labour affiliated but the union only donates funds to MP or those standing for parliament who are sympathetic to the unions cause , the same for local branches with political funds , this goes to like minded individuals and organisations
The " New Deal" March on June 18th was just the start TUC and CWU were the main instigators of the March and I'm sure other unions are coming on board and it's good to see and hear that the public in the main are backing the action taken despite what certain news outlets are trying to stir up We have 8 million members of unions in this country ,with solidarity they can make themselves heard
It's worth noting that, over the weekend, Nandy was finger-wagging about how, if you read Starmer's interview in the Mirror, it would all make sense So no, Nandy still hasn't figured out that being a patronising cow is a big reason why she didn't get far in the leadership election...
Not sure you do, but if you want another reason to hate Truss, you can recall that she lifted the ban on neonicotinoid pesticides which are wiping out the bee population!

Seriously though, that Truss quip will end very, very badly for her. That is not a fight she wants to pick. She really doesn't know how to read a room, which isn't surprising as she cannot find her way out of them!
