What’s Putin got to do with it? Your player lunged in and raked his studs on our player’s ankle. How he went down after is irrelevant as it was a foul and the ref saw it and gave the pen. Get over it, soft ****.

Like Sykes, who took 5 minutes on the deck then made a miraculous recovery after? Daft ****.

I wouldn't stand for that JGF - show him the AWACS footage you downloaded.........<laugh>

Historically made a lot of good mates in Hull during my time working up there in the 80's - that was of course the Boothferry Park era.

Things have changed a bit since then, but they always liked an argument back then when Cardiff City were ****e - now it's your turn.

Dean Ashton on *that* penalty decision
Nigel Pearson wasn't happy about it and, according to ITV pundit and former West Ham and Norwich striker Dean Ashton, he had a right to be as Hull won a very contentious penalty when Hull's Benjamin Tetteh was adjudged to have been tripped in the box by Kal Naismith. There was, and this is putting it very very lightly, minimal contact.

'Tetteh does get kicked to start with, I think there is some contact but there is allowed to be contact without it being a penalty. Clearly he could’ve taken a step and then a shot so I think he’s justified in what he has said, (Nigel) Pearson.

That was a key moment in the game to equalise for Hull. They’ve made big signings.'

I think I have to agree that VAR would have given it on review with the advantage of review. Good luck because like us you may need it.

Sometimes with a penalty decision you just have to suck it up.
One day it's given the next it isn't.
Not our day and the mad deflection summed it all up.

I'm pretty confident that VAR would have awarded us a pen, a few minutes after when Akinson was held in a wrestling lock from the corner..
Consistency from refs surely has to be met..

The amount of times he was hacked down, hardly surprising.......The one thing we all agree is, the ref was crap...

He definitely was, I think the pen we got was probably the only thing he got right all day! I know it won't make a difference to you guys, but from our POV it's about time we got a little luck. I can't remember the last time we got a deflected goal or anything like that. Over the recent seasons it always seems to happen against us!

VAR probably would have given you guys a pen but also given us another 1 possibly 2 in the first half..... I'm still so glad it isn't in the championship though

Just out of interest, we have now received as many penalties this season as the whole of last season

Just one more required for BCFC to equal their last year tally. Src: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cha...eElfmeter/wettbewerb/GB2/plus/?saison_id=2021

i agree about the Wolves game - but last season we held the record for conceding late goals in the entire professional league. LJ can’t claim that one.

I’ve not seen so many WUMs from Hull before - where’s Lambrettaman?
Clearly the victory was worth more to them than we thought it would………..

Perhaps we should start an ongoing thread… Points we have lost from a winning position!
At least then no one would have to look through the results to determine the exact number!!!

all depends on what frame you stop it on .. bearing in mind the speed it happens was the foot in that position 4 frames in front or 6 behind .... and what has speaking to do with it?

This comment shows how some people still won't let go. To bring up one game where we conceded late goals to lose a game to say it's been happening for years<laugh><laugh>. This is a last season, and so far, this season issue. Is it down to NP and his coaches, or the players? Who knows. All I know is, that it's down to the lot of them to fix, or we will be at the bottom end of the table again this season.

It’s not a case of not letting go, it’s much more than that
The whole fortune of the club took a massive nose dive after that game and we’ve never recovered our league position or confidence since
    Just in my opinion

Yes very strange indeed, never had a problem with them over the years but Saturday they all seemed very bitter, throwing objects towards us and everything, still obsessed with something that happened 14 years ago.

Hey ho I wish them luck this season
