Lots of people don’t like the men’s game and don’t watch it. Others don’t like rugby union and won’t have seen us win the World Cup. Why should people watch something just because it is women playing?
only bits ive seen is the 2nd half or extra time. well done to them. proud of them. hope they continue to build their own story, rivalries and history
Says the man who doesn’t support the England’s mens team. Did you watch England in the rugby union World Cup Finals?
I did, yeah. Cracking stuff, followed up by watching Man U vs Blackburn in VIP seats courtesy of one Roy Keane. We've been through this, I watch England pretty much every time they play (providing it doesn't clash with the Faroes, which it rarely does), I just don't have the same level of support for them I do as the Faroes.
Fantastic well played world cup next year . Bit of Depeche Mode to boot .. Not impressed with the trophy though
FFS. People will have watched the game that don't normally watch women's football or football at all for that matter. Others will see the highlights or the headlines, and it's quite liable for the joyous celebrations to encourage people to take up sport, or be more open to watching events in the future they may not have otherwise done. I'm ****ed if I know why that turns into some sort of pissing contest. Just enjoy the scenes if you're still watching.
Top ****housing in the last five minutes from the England lasses, and Jill Scott shouting, **** off you ****ing prick, at that German defender
You said you couldn’t support a country which produced a Jimmy Savile. One of the dafter statements on here.
I suspect some are starved of attention hence why the put the shyte they do on here, sad fkrs but hey ho, each to their own, loved the fact that these lasses put their hearts and souls into that game and found a way to win, brilliant.
I was hoping they would revive the old tradition of showing the winning team in the communal bath drinking champagne from the cup.
Well, no dafter than calling an entire nation of people "mammal murderers". But I guess we all say stupid things sometimes, eh?
