    Here's an interesting piece of journalism from 'Alistair Macgowan' on BBC Sport. Obviously he's impersonating a journalist, and doing a **** job.

    Ba knocked over Crouch but Huth's push was 'tame'? Two words Mr. Macgowan and they are "give" and "over."

    I think its a stupid argument to say that Newcastle have yet to be tested. Fact of the matter is, against the likes of Utd, City and Chelsea, almost all teams outside last season's top 6 would be expected to lose home and away. Even if Newcastle played these three teams and lost convincingly home and away, it doesn't mean anything.

    The games against the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke, Sunderland, Villa, the promoted sides, Wolves, Fulham and Bolton are the big tests for Newcastle. Getting 3 points in a fixture when last year Newcastle only managed 1 is progress.

    How many Newcastle fans actually predicted an away win today, let alone a very comfortable (apart from a 6 minute period) win?

    Lose against City, Chelsea and Utd and any person that says "the bubble has burst" or equiv, is speaking out of their backside. Get points against these sides, and it demonstrates the tenacity and team spirit that Newcastle have. Something that has for the last few years been an oxymoron.

    Btw, I'm a Spurs fan! But I have Newcastle affiliation, so am happy to see them do well =)

    The not being tested thing is particularly stupid because Chelsea have lost to every "big six" club theyve played a none of the pundits have mentioned that
