He was player/coach when I started following the club - was surprised to find out that he was quite young (30). Given his later coaching/managerial career, he obviously had one eye on the future back then.
Yes. Better than our Joao, unfortunately. I think he’ll return to the Premiership, if anyone has half a brain.
85p per Euro. Which equates to around £2.8m to Watford FC. Kerching! Shame about the rubbish exchange rate, eh?
One who lost his way a bit. I seem to remember having high hopes for him as a left-footed player, but something went completely awry for him. In the five seasons since leaving us, he has only had about 60 first team games - with half of them for Coventry. Maybe it's all psychological - every debut he made for the clubs he has played for ended in defeat. When he went on loan to Dundee United, his first game was a 6-1 defeat at Falkirk - his performance was dire and the fans were rather cruel with their comments.
I thought he had returned to his homeland and retired a season or so back... https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/daniel-pudil-watford-hallam-fc-27566773
I thought he was very good. I was quite excited about him, tbh. Was amazed when we sold him, although we’ve some very good LBs indeed, so I think it was right in retrospect. But he was Cov’s best against us (was that League Cup?). Good luck to the lad.
One of our released youngsters has got him a move to Port Vale. https://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/2022/july/derek-agyakwa-signs-for-the-vale/
No Champions league football for Zinckernagel. Greeks hammered at home. https://www.flashscore.com/match/02D9NyMq/#/match-summary/lineups
