The fact that he was able to control the threat of Messi, Villa and Pedro for most of the game is a real credit to how much potential he has. Schezny, Kos & Wilshere. All young guys who played very well last night.
Eboue also played well and did some great runs forward. He did make one bad mistake that almost cost us. But apart from that he didnt get beat once by Pedro/ Maxwell.
Eboue lost possession on numerous occasions but he did well to fill in for Sagna. As you've said he made great runs for Theo, but kept on getting in the way of Theo so he wasn't able to run at the defenders on the wing and had to always cut in.
Eboue got in Theo's way ONCE. He was the main reason why Barca had little luck down Arsenals right side.
Theo felt more comfortable drifting in because he always knew Eboue was going to make them runs past him.
I agree, Sagna knows when to make a run and when not to over lap, where as Eboue's constantly over lapping.
I have no idea how wilshire kept the ball, kept thinking crap he going to loose it. Does he have glue on his boots. great performance from him and chesney
Glad you agree mate and you're not one of the silly wums. Always good having a debate with knowledgable and sensible "rivals" I think that will be what we need to do at the Camp. Strong defensive display again, but when Barca attack, get it to sagna, Wilshere or Cesc and 1 ball to set up the counter with either Walcott running at Maxwell or to Nasri/RVP
I like the ones that are so incompetent that they end up getting shot down / wound up over their own WUM efforts. We had a Leeds bitter come on the Utd board and start gobbing off about us buying the title and producing no young players. I pointed out that we have more youth academy products in our first team squad than any other PL club. He claimed West Ham had more, I showed that we had seven, and they had five plus one from our academy (Spector). He hasn't come back
