Wiz, I know Gibbo is your favourite City keeper. For me and like you have seen both, Basso is my pick. Opinions eh !
Assuming Sykes and Vyner are the two right sided defenders that seems rather weak to me. Not that I know anything

The one I saw was with 3 centre backs, Vyner, Naismith and Atkinson , 4 across the centre, James and Williams central, Jay and Sykes either side, then Scott in the “10” role with Weiman and Martin upfront.
Zak has everything needed physically to be a good championship central defender, his problem is mainly mental, he has a tendency to switch off too often, he also doesn’t impose himself enough on opponents.
10 mins in and we look quite good, bossing the game.. their keeper making a great save from a James header..
A great start and followed up with our first goal of the new campaign. I think we look tight and confident and let's hope for 3 away points???
