In truth, the result could go either way, but the visitors look to be a more settled unit at this stage of the season and should be full of confidence after a strong pre-season. please log in to view this image
Due in most to us having a settled side, whereas Hull haven’t. As Angelica said I hope they’re right.
here we are, a brand new shiny season before us and hope springs eternal, but its the hope that bloody kills you,but hey ho, 69 years old today and still look forward to a new season as i did as a kid, the magic never fails.
Happy birthday mate, have a good night, don't want to give away to much but I have got a few more years on the clock than you but City still does it for me, I stopped the clock at 50 but that old City magic never fails and I bloody luv it..

All I can say is it's like Christmas day to me and I'm looking forward to a good season, mind you I may be crying my eyes out tonight...Up the City!!!
Coach has broken down Not the greatest of starts to the new season... City are arriving now in 10 taxis because the team coach has broken down! But they're all rocking up to the stadium now.
A comment from the club Here's a bit more explaining why the team rocked up in 10 separate taxis: "The coach was delayed leaving the team hotel due to an electrical fault. "Alternative arrangements were made and the players arrived in time for their pre-match preparations, with the coach following on afterwards."
Interesting to see how they line up, Scott RWB? , or behind the front two ? also strange two RWB’s on the bench.
The bench... So there's no Andy King on the bench, Sam Bell, Towler and Idehen are all missing out too from the matchday squad. We think it's Mark Sykes out at wing-back this afternoon. (Post comment)
Adriano Basso interview The former City favourite played for both clubs and he's done a nice interview in the Hull programme for this game. Here's a snippet from it in reference to the reception he received from City fans after signing for Hull: "If I can compare it to any other day, even the play-off final at Wembley, that was the best day of my life. "I thought the Bristol City fans were going to boo me, especially the way I left the club, but they sung my name for 90 minutes. "Nigel Pearson came to me after the game and said he had been in football for a long time and he had never seen anything like it and believes he would never see it again."
