Rowe has just posted a picture on social media of his leg in a protective boot, so presume he's at ruled out for Cardiff, potentially much longer.
As we expected. Would rather have Sinani or Hernandez than Sargent, but I guess we need to give him a chance to shine at a lower level. Should be good enough to compete!
Yeah really not sure there was much Smith could do, at least 10/11 pick themselves. Bench looks thin but there's new signings to come in.
To be fair, Sargent was starting to look good, before he got injured. His work rate has always been good, though.
5 I am guessing it's only for this season as the schedule leading up to the World Cup is too demanding. Perhaps it's better to say more demanding
5 subs but only 3 breaks in play. I didn't realise the subs bench wasn't being extended beyond 7. Take the sub keeper out of the equation and practically the whole bench can come on.
Not sure why the bench looks thin, DH. All of those are first team players who've earned their place through their pre-season performances. Tomkinson is now our third choice CB with Gibson injured. Gibbs will soon give way to Sara and hopefully Núñez as well, so it's good that he gets this chance.
