Arveladze just informed his players he'll let them know what the fine will be for being late.

'This is the beginning of a very long journey. It is going to be a year where we can put our presence in the club and we are happy we made the transfers we were thinking of. I am very happy to say we achieved our goal by transferring in what were for us, our number one pick players.

'Just because you have the budget doesn't mean the players will come to you. You need to have something so the players will divert their life for you. In the Championship it is not the money the players come for. We have enough power to transfer anybody, but the Championship has limits. I am very happy with the news we hear that parachute payments will change because that is not fair.

 

'We had a good future plan with players who believe in us and that's why they come to this beautiful city. Our new transfers, most of them in their career have been attached with us in the past. This was one of the biggest effects we could bring, to get that quality player to our team.

I am so happy the players saw the desire in my eyes. I had personal meetings with 90% of them, explaining how beautiful a city Hull is and how beautiful the fans were. Plus how we plan to take the club up the table.

'I cannot say when we will be a Premier League club, but we promise every day we will be better and we will climb up the table.

Baxter - 'We were so delighted to get him back. He is a high quality player from a club like Chelsea.

Sayyadmanesh - 'As I say to you, it is not easy to bring in high quality players but we have one here. There were other clubs who wanted to sign him who would pay the same amount, but we got him.

Figueiredo - 'He is the only signing I didn't get chance to speak to before he came. He was one our our main targets and we are so happy to get him from a great club like Nottingham Forest.

Seri - 'I am so happy to get Mika, he was a dream signing, the one dream I had. Every time I watch him I am proud of myself that we got him to come to this team.

Tufan - 'I am so happy to see him in my team. He has had great success and with our national team. I didn't wait one minute to get him in our team, I have known him many years.

Estupinan - 'He had so many offers from so many clubs. I had a conversation with him while I was on live television. I spoke to him during the commercial break and had 9 minutes to convince Oscar. He had maybe 20 offers, 5 of them I know. He chose to play in our team and I am very happy.

Tetteh - 'He has a lot of quality and you will see what he brings to the league. We are very happy he chose to play for us.

Sinik - 'He has had some good moments in the national team recently and has shown his skills. He has so much to give for our club. I am so happy to be in front of all of you wish such a strong group of players.

On Aveladze - 'We are so happy. He is such a good coach and he gets on so well with the players. With so many players coming from all over the world, Shota is the best person to combine them and make them speak one language, the football language.

 

Acun - 'We need time. So many of our new signings came from their national teams and that causes problems. The team is not ready, but that's not us being pessimistic. We are sure they will show their quality on the pitch, but I say to the fans, this is a long journey and we need time.

This team will be a team that our fans can be proud of. It will show everyone Hull City is an exceptional team.

Aveladze - Every home game and every away game, the players have already seen the support. We realise how much this club can do together. I wanted the players to learn this very quick. The atmosphere is fantastic everywhere, not just home games.

Some players came late, but it is a long season.

Acun - 'I have big excitement right now. It's a long season and you look t Nottingham Forest last year. I prefer to go slow to the top, this is my life story and I want teh team to go like this too, step by step. Its not possible for any club in the Championship to say how long to get to Premier League.

When you compare the budgets, there's some clubs coming from the Premier League so it will be a very tough competition. I can say we will be a better team, how much better? We don't know yet.

The first five or six games will be tough for us. Anywhere you bring players together, you need time. I think we will get used to each other soon. Some players have just one week training with us. We are at the beginning and we are not ready at the moment, but it doesn't matter if you lose two or three games, it's the long plan.
