My apologies, I have just realised that some of my completely innocent comments on this thread could be interpreted - in a very small way - as being ‘sizeist’. it has never been my intention to look down on anyone. It has only come to my attention due to one member being a bit short with me. I will desist immediately, the chances of a repeat performance are vanishingly microscopic. Actually the Southern Hemisphere, including the Antarctic, is experiencing an extremely cold Winter. Australia has seen record low temperatures, Antartica, at one point was over 5 degrees cooler than the 1970-2010 average, Santiago has been hit by unusually cold weather and even in Canada, earlier this year they had snow out of season. The Arctic sea ice is much more widespread than expected too. All you hear about is the weather related heat dome over Europe. If you want something to worry about search the Beaufort Gyre. It could spark a little ice age.

On another point. I was having a nosey out of my window when I saw my neighbour who is elderly and maybe is recovering from a hip op. Anyway he has to walk each day to stay mobile and he seems to have different carers walking with him everyday. Now most of the time it's a white carer who is chatting to him, but today there was a black lad. What was he doing he was on his phone, not talking on it, ****ing looking at the screen. Now I don't know if thats allowed or not, but my thoughts are that you keep on eye out for your patient. Rant over.
