    thanks for a smashing match day thread RTB i've gone for a draw, i think playing pre season without recognized strikers, will backfire with the crispness of passing in the box letting us down, i hope for the win but fear we are strengthening too late, as a team needs time to gell, a lesson we have learned a few times already, but hey ho onwards and upwards, here's hoping

    Get in there, the first one of the season. Hard game to start with, I've gone for 2-1 to the lads but would probably be happy with a point. Looking forward to a higher standard of game.

    Well off we go in a better league so a bit of apprehension here so I don't mind how many we win by.
    The crowd, manager and squad will be right up for this one so hope the lads can deliver.
